Why do you think your character would work in this setting?
Blaine is choosing to come to New Dodge, following Kurt breaking their engagement. Blaine is in a bad place, depressed over losing his fiance and getting kicked out of school. He is determined to turn his life around, however, and will use this opportunity to do so. I think he will, however, fit in well in New Dodge. He is personable, and easy going. He will be will willing to talk to anyone, and he will be extremely friendly to those he meets.



How do you plan to expand their CR?

Blaine is an outgoing person, so expanding his CR shouldn't be a problem at all. He is warm and friendly to strangers. I can see him trying to cheer people up, and using his charm to do it.

What will your character do for work?

Blaine will most likely try and teach, which is what he was planning on doing in Lima. If the theatre opens, he would love to work there or participate in some way.

Dear Kurt,

My therapist suggested that I write you this letter. Did you know that I started seeing a therapist, of course you didn’t, why would you? We haven’t spoken in months. If I would have been asked to write this months ago, it would have been pages and pages, filled with angry hurtful things. In case you were wondering, my therapist didn’t think that would be helpful at all.

Yes, Kurt, you heard right. I’m seeing a therapist. I know, you are probably laughing right now, as much as I fought the need for therapy when we were still together. I learned a few things during my sessions. I should have fought harder for us. I don’t mean that how you think I mean it, but I should have been strong enough to give you the space that you needed to thrive. If I hadn’t been so needy, then you wouldn’t have had to end things.

I learned some things about myself through being apart from you. I am a strong person. I don’t need a relationship to be okay with being in my own skin. That is really what I have been missing all along. I lacked the confidence and belief in myself to know that I would be okay without you.

I have come to the startling realization that even though I loved you with my whole heart and soul, that I believed that we would be together forever and that I wanted forever with … I am digressing, sorry I do tend to get off topic. I realized that right now, at this moment, we are not bringing out the best in each other and allowing each other to live our best lives.

I want that life for you, Kurt. I want that life for me. I hope that we can find that.
